Just for Fun - Carnival of page turns

Dear Fluters,
Just for fun; Denis Bouriakov in his own arrangement of Carnival of Venice for wind symphony.

Watch for windy page turns.....

...and some great flashy playing too.

Best,
Jen

I just noticed something about his right thumb position. It's all the way back so his hand is more forward. Is this bad or good? It looks like the fingers have a little more freedom, but I would never do that.

Bouriakov's RH position is certainly unusual. It must work for HIM, though, because he has some accurate and FAST RH fingers.

Best, J.

Very good playing, and interesting to see a professional with such an off-centre embouchure, really great to watch and excellent playing! Very enjoyable arrangement too.
