I’m most curious about the name Jaroslav Pelicán at the end of this list. What does he have to do with flute compositions? I knew of him through my wife who studied classical literature and languages at Yale’s graduate school in the 1960s. But he was a theologian and classical scholar, not, so far as I knew, a musician.

Hi Stan,
I don't know this person, but I do know how to google their name and add the word composer.
Thus I find there are two men of this name. One born in 1923 (the one you likely know) and this composer here:

Same name, two different humans.
Thanks for the interesting cross-over moment.
Jen
